Eden walked through the hallway containing many of the rooms knowing everyone in the castle would be at lunch she made that the time for her to start on the royals bedrooms, with her things in hand she opened the door to the first room belonging to the younger prince and looked in to see it was empty and slid in leaving it open so she could make the bed and dust and polish the intricate woodworking on the furniture

Instead of joining the others for lunch, the youngest prince, Robert, spent that time walking around the castle. Fewer people to talk to. He always ate lunch early to do this and though he enjoyed talking to others, he used times like this to just have some peace alone or with fewer people.
He knew one or two of the servants cleaned the royal's rooms during such a time so he usually roamed the castle or outside so that he would not bother them, though this time had forgotten a letter to send off in his room and went back for it.

she finished making the bed before she opened the doors to the balcony letting the fresh air waft in,taking a deep breath of the air before taking the polishing rag to the dresser. she sighed pushing her hair behind her ear out of the way.

He poked his head in and said. "hi, um sorry to bother you while cleaning I'm just in need of grabbing something I had forgotten."
He walked over to the dresser to pick up the letter to send

she jumped a bit and clumsily made sure she didn't drop the Polish can in her hands "oh ahm I- it's fine your highness" she said quietly, she didn't look up at him as she tried not to with all of them none of the royals have even had her look directly at them or really seen her face for that matter. she just kept eye eyes on polishing the top of the desser.

she didn't speak again as she went ahead to work on the desk pushing her hair from her face

He wondered about that maid on occasion, she rarely talked or even looked at anyone, just kept her head down most of the time.

she walked out of his room shutting the door behind her balancing her things in her arms she only had to clean certain o especially on certain days and the beds were typically made by other maids.she only had to dust and polish his room every 3 days, she made it to the closet before dropping her things the Polish can rolling down the hall so she had to chase after it "oh dear oh come back"

He was heading back to his room to put his new letters away when he saw the rolling can and picked it up. He saw her chansing after it and closed the distance. "Coming for this I assume?" He asked and handed her the can.

she gently took it from him nodding slowly, as usual she didn't look up at him but "yes, thank you " she quietly said, obviously people like him made her nervous

she was confused, no one really ever asked her name "ahm, it's Eden" she said playing with a strand of her hair nervously

"eden what are you doing" eden flinched a bit when the head maid came up "I'm sorry your highness if she's bothered you, eden don't you have work to do you've barely started you don't want to be here all night again do you?"
eden finally looked up when the lady came up, the head maid always yelled at her for not looking at her when she was addressing her. so he could finally see her pretty face she always hid
"i- yes ma'am " she said clutching the Polish can before scurrying away
