she followed a step behind him actually looking up to almost study him with a confused expression. she didn't understand why he kept showing up today and why he was being so nice to her.

Robert intended to talk to his parents about what kind of wages the servants made. He didn't like the idea of any of his people going hungry, especially if they worked at the palace. Their country wasn't very rich or anything but he knew it could certainly afford to make sure no one went hungry.
