she was trying to figure out the stove and touched it in a hot spot and pulled her hand back with a yelp

"Are you okay?" He asked and pulled out the first aid kit and had some burn cream in hand.

she kind of sat there, tears welling up in her eyes staring down at her hand she was clutching to her chest

"Here, let me see. This will help." He said while dabbing some of the burn cream onto a soft cloth and held out his other hand to hold hers.

He lightly dabbed the cream on the burn. it would not take long at all for the pain to go away with the cream as he continued.

He put a bandage over it after adding another layer of the burn cream. "It can be hard to tell what parts of the stove are hot, but the burn should heal up in the next day or two. Just reapply this cream when you need to." He explained and gave her some as well as extra bandages to put into the basket where the food would be put as well. He set the bowls on the table for them to eat.

she snapped out of her daze "h-huh what?" She got a little red embarrassed she wasn't paying much attention even though she was staring right at him
