"Goodnight, sir." She replied, giving a small smile in return and a curtsy, though it dropped once they were out of sight of any of the guards. They made it back a few minutes before curfew.

"keep an eye on them" he said quietly to a guard who nodded as Jasper hopped back up on his horse and headed back for the palace

"So what's for dinner sis?" Frank asked with a teasing grin.
"If you are wanting me to cook then you better have a doctor on call, you know I can't cook anything besides eggs and toast to save my life." Chris responded.
"Rice and beef." Wert said simply, though was mostly keeping his eyes and ears open for anyone who may be following them.

the guards stayed at there posts as they passed by, they already knew where the three were staying

The three stuck around for a few more days before preparing to leave, though in that time they had been beaten for defending one of the towns women being attacked by a local guard.
"Meh, worth it." Chris remarked, regarding the cuts and bruises they had received as they headed back to the cottage after making sure the woman got home safely.
"Still I think we should get an early start for our next destination, that guard had revenge written all over his face. I don't think we need any more trouble than we've already gotten." Wert responded.
"I guess so." She agreed.

he headed back to the town for another check "problems?" he asked and one explained what had happened with the newcomers

They locked up the cottage once back and finished packing up and tending to wounds before going to bed.

The next morning they started to load up their wagon to leave, though no one would know it was them the next time they returned.

Jasper walked along the town square as people made sure not to run into him. he was used it that it didn't bother him an he liked it that way.

They hopped onto the wagon and went back through town to head out.

They left in a new direction from the one they came to, having a place to stay and hide out, so to speak, not too far off.

"Well they did mention going to another town didn't they?" Another guard replied, not very concerned by it, he'd rather they not be there anyways.
They stopped at the new hideout in the forest well outside of town.
