She locked the door behind her once inside and the looked over what else they have learned.
"Unless we can get on the other side of the palace wall then we won't be able to get far in our plans." Chris commented.
"So we take turns sneaking in overnight." The youngest said (whose name escapes me right now).
"That seems to be our only option, I will go tonight and we will take turns from there." Wert responded. Late into the night he set out and though did not have any problems he could not get far into the grounds with the heavy security and he was not as good with stealth as Chris was so he made his way back after learning a few things here and there.

Jasper sat on the balcony to the kings bedroom, the balcony door open to he could hear everything. the room was resituated so that no shot of an arrow could hit anyone in the room sleeping from any angle he checked and rechecked just in case that was tried again

Wert took notice of the guard on the balcony and made sure to let them know if it.
"Your guard boyfriend was out tonight. Guarding the king no doubt." Wert said to Chris after removing his hood from his head and mouth.
Chris rolled her eyes. "I feel like either he is getting suspicious and is purposely showing up now or this is some kind of joke that I keep running into that guy. It doesn't make him my anything."
"I like the joke one, it is pretty ironic, leader of the resistance and best assassin constantly running into the best of the kings guards, both on duty and off." Wert teased.

he sat back staring out at the grounds looking around every once in a while

Once again they were out the next day at their stands, though Chris closed her's up a little early to find Frank and Wert regarding some news she had received about some of the villages in the outer part of the kingdom being burned in suspect of helping the resistance or villagers even being members.
She weaved quickly and expertly through the crowd, no one really paying her any mind as she did and stopped by Frank's stand first as it was closer and showed him the note. He took started to close up while Chris went on quickly to Wert next to tell him so that they could make a plan to try and get this mission through with sooner.

Jasper sat back by the king as dinner ended "so you think it's the brothers?"
"Yes, possibly the girl as well"

Wert showed them his map of the outside of the palace.
"We have no idea what the inside is like though." He remarked.
"If we want to ends this soon then we should go with my original idea." Chris said.
"That is a very big risk, you'd essentially be getting caught on purpose." Frank pointed out.
"What other ideas do you have? He is now having entire villages destroyed for even being suspected of helping those who oppose him." Chris said.
They gave up and decided to devise a plan. They were still going to try and complete the mission, but it would be part of a new plan of they were to fail.

"So keep an eye on the girl mostly is my plan she's alone more then the others "
the king nodded "very well do as you need to"

Frank took a quick look around another section of the palace to catch any other details for their map and plans.
After working out most of the details they returned to their cover business the next day.
After Frank and Wert left for their own stands Chris started opening hers up.

"made it home fine I see" he said looking over at her

She turned to him and nodded. "Yes, not very much normally happens between only a few blocks."

"those two aren't the only idiots we have patrolling so who knows what else was out around there" he said with a shrug

"I am sure there are better guards that were out, like you." She answered.

"always some good and some bad, not much we can do about it"
