a guard came back and Carson smiled "if you'll excuse me I'll be right back" he said before following the man into the hall

Carson looked at her when they turned the corner and he relaxed seeing she wasn't harmed as badly as he thought she may have been

"I don't really know what was going on most of the time. I was woken up and carted off by strangers, knocked out and found myself before a lot of people at what felt like an auction, fell unconscious again and found myself where the guards found me. My head still hurt from being knocked out twice cause I kept fighting, so events through the day blur right now. I mostly remember voices, trying to fight, maybe saying things here and there and getting a beating, but I got close enough to steal a key and was in the process of getting out when the guards found me."
