The Performer

[***Stormchaser***]

"A pleasure meeting you." She said with another curtsy and headed in the direction of the place she called home.
Luckily she had earned a good bit of money from the collaborative performance that day. Once back at her home, or an old side-tunnel under a bridge she went over her notebook on ideas and songs to do before going through her savings to buy something to wear and to rent a room at an inn closer to the palace for the two nights around the occasion.

"What was that about? Talking to the street girl?" Marco asked and Arcadia rolled her eyes "her names Lindsey and just for a few reasons it's not any of your business marco"
"Whatever just asking not like I care" he said staring ahead

She worked harder to earn extra money through the next two weeks, taking on more temporary jobs, about the only kind of job she could manage to get, and performing all around the city, sometimes traveling for more than an hour to get to another part of the city to go to a new spot until she had enough for her stay at an inn and to buy what she could for the event. She bought a ballet style dress in a light blue color with darker blue ribbons with a long, fluttering skirt for dancing and some dark blue slippers. She also managed to get a new violin for the occasion that also matched the light and dark blue theme.

The day of the party the castle was bustling with people preparing for the event. Marco just sat on his throne watching people run around the ball room setting up and Arcadia walked up next to him "you look annoyed"
"Just to much going on"

She cleaned up and dressed up at the inn before going to the castle where a servant led her to a room to use for practice if she wanted to.
Beyond nervous she had never performed for anything like this and the few people she was allowed to bring with her also looked nervous.
Swallowing it down she did what she could to lift the mood.
"We've got this. We can do this, we go over the routine once here to be certain and then it will be time to go out there for the real thing, just pretend we are doing it on the street for the people like always." She declared.

Arcadia walked in and smiled " Lindsey oh don't you look beautiful, just wanted to quickly make sure you had everything you needed "

"I think we do." She answered as they stopped their practice.

[~Amber~]

"Alright, someone will come for you when we are ready" she said, a maid following her out quickly

She nodded and they resumed their rehearsals, finishing up and taking a break just before they were summoned.

Marco sat on the kings throne while Arcadia took the one that would belong to the queen since she acted in her place and the throne to his left that belonged to the Prince is where Logan always sat.

They were ushered into the hall and took the space provided for the entertainment, beginning as soon as they were ready as instructed by the servant.
Starting off with a lively song that she had big performance plans for later called Master of Tides.

Marco raised and eyebrow and looked at his younger sister who was just smiling at him

They continued on through the first round of their performance, it being split up into two, the second to be done during dessert.
Moving back to the practice room for their break between the two performances they sat down and let out a collective breath.

Food and drinks were set for them when they arrived so they could relax and eat something if they wanted

They did so, though were mostly quiet as they did.
