Once they were out of the palace and going to the inn one of her fellow performers asked. "What was that about?"
"What?"
"You were tongue tied."
"I-I don't know." She blushed lightly and looked away to avoid talking about it more.

"Can we stop talking about this?" She argued as they went into the inn.

The two walked the gardens "she's very pretty" she said and he looked at her " what are you trying to pull here?"

They headed to bed and prepared to go back to their part of town after getting up.

The next morning a guard was at the door looking for Lindsey

"Oh she's right here. Miss Shay, someone is here to see you." The clerk said as they were checking out.
"Yes?" Lindsey asked curiously.

He handed her a letter "the king sent me, he requests your presence "

"Good luck hon." The group said to her as she looked at the letter.
She shouldered her bag and headed to the palace.

Arcadia saw her enter the palace and looked confused "Lindsey? Why are you here? Everything alright?"

"He's always grumpy not much can change that" she said guiding her to the throne room "just don't let him push you around or look afraid of him or he will use that to get whatever it is he wants"

She nodded in understanding of the advice and walked in, being more or less her usual self with a soft and kind smile before giving a curtsy in greeting.
