Personality: Opal is a pessimistic person who believes that she can't depend on others for help though is quick to be helpful to others without a second thought. She is shy upon first meeting people but once she warms up she does become a little more open on what she thinks, though when it comes to how she feels she tends to hide it no matter what.

Family/History: Her mother and father were both well known scientists and mostly worked in the hospitals and at home developing medicines though also invented and experimented with new things. In her childhood there was an accident with an experiment that killed both of her parents. For a large majority of her childhood she was passed from one foster home to the next until the head doctor of a mental hospital took her in though used her for varying experiments against her will. She managed to escape just before she turned 18 and went straight into college, only getting help in knowing what to do to enroll and from there learned what she needed to on her own out of books and other independent sources. She is still pretty deep in debt from student loans after she choose to continue her studies but is working a paid internship and slowly paying it back. She currently lives in a small cabin not far into the woods.
