He went ahead and said rounds to ensure everything was clear, listening for anything that seemed out of the ordinary
"So since your sister is the older one I assume she plans to take the throne after your father. Do you have any plans?"

She stayed put in her windowseat taking notes and doing some of the work she went ahead and started to take on like mail.
"Just help really. We have discussed both of us ascending and then once she marries I'll step down but I will mostly run the palace either way and be a relay for guard and military affairs." He explained.

She glanced in his direction though was focused and looked back at her work.
"It would seem so." He nodded and checked the time. "It is later than I expected."

"Just getting a head start though some of them I will wait until tomorrow to see because they seem suspicious." She responded, gesturing to a box she had other letters and packages put into, addressed to anyone between herself, brother or father. "Of course they should be safe, they have been checked by those that receive the palace mail, but it has been stressed to me to at least act cautious about that stuff."
"Unless you're Haru. I should start going to sleep and make sure Haru goes to bed as well." He mused.
