"Hey I need to finish those!" She protested as Sora took the letters from Jericho to put in the study.

She stuck her tongue out at him. "Fine, fine I'll get ready for bed." She got up to pull out her night clothes and to take a bath before bed. Once the bathroom door was closed Sora glanced at Jericho.
"I'll need to team up with you more often that was the fastest she's ever agreed to go to bed. She might actually sleep longer than four hours."

Jericho followed his sister down the hall silently. "He asked me what our contract with the king was" jezelle said and he looked over to her "you didnt tell him did you?"
She shook her head and he sighed "good"

Haru finished up her bath before going to bed and Sora also went on to bed.

The two spent the night watching and listening for anything they may need to worry about. They often went into town or stayed and eavesdropped on the guards or anyone if they felt someone could be suspicious

Well outside of the Capitol there was suspicious activity, a plot for the demons to take the kingdom back though they were smart enough to stay away as they planned.

The next morning the two were boredly sitting in the throne room as the king discussed plans for a sort of ball among the novels, mostly to see if he could finally find someone at least one of his children was interested in.
"Finding someone who could handle your daughter would be one in a million. Shes got a wild spirit that men this day and age do not full appreciate you know" jezelle said sitting on the edge of the kings throne looking over at him with a smile "shes a bit like you were when you were her age"
Jericho rolled his eyes "yeah and we know you know plenty about that"

"I suppose she did take more after me in the adventurous spirit, but the rebellious nature is more her mother. Boy was she a spitfire and hardly listened to anyone if she thought what she was doing was right." He chuckled.

"And that's what we liked about you, that's what made you a leader you didnt back down you took what you wanted,young and driven for change is what these people had needed" jezelle said putting a hand on his shoulder with a smile
"That and he was willing to make a deal, little more then a deal with you eh Jezelle" Jericho taunted and jezelle gave him a look tossing and sticking the dagger in her hand into the wall right above his head wiping that smirk off his face

"You know very well that nothing of the sort occurred. I had eyes for only one woman." The king responded, he didn't remember Jezelle even actually trying to hit on him at the time though he did consider her a good friend.
