"I guess that is true." She shrugged.

"I did already but it's Will." He answered. "I guess you were busy being angry."

He set a canvas on the easel "why not do something now?"

"I wasnt paying attention sorry"

"Hm, tempting."

"Do you not get along with your father?"

He held out a brush "just go for it"

"Cant really call him much of a father more of a stranger"

"You probably want to use different wording with my. I've filled balloons with paint and threw darts at them as a way of painting." She replied with a grin.

"I see. Well he does care about you. "

"Well then ballons it is" he said going to the closet


She sighed "hardly seems like it, he qasnt even around when mom got sick so I doubt he cares to much about us when he didnt even care to be there for us when mom was dying"

"You don't have to do that I was just using it as an example that I can be really messy when I do paint."

"I'm sorry. I don't really know much about typical families, but when we talk to him he does seem to care. Perhaps he was trying to deal with his own grief and just doesn't know how to handle yours? That is no excuse as a parent though."

He slid the closet open "well what else do we have to do?"

She stopped and looked at him "my father only really cares about having someone to take over his business. Hes good at lying and making you think he cares but he really just sees me and my brother as investments"

"If you want to do that then I won't argue, it's fun either way."

"Okay." He replied, deciding it was best to stay out of it from there.

He gave a small smile "so what colors?"

She sighed "sorry...hes just a sore subject with me"

"How about the primary ones and we just see what we can generate from there?"

"I didn't notice." He answered jokingly.

"Sounds good" he said pulling them out as well as matching balloon colors

She laughed shoving him lightly "oh got me figured out already pretty boy?"

She started filling some. "So you do this too hu?"

"Trained to figure people out, but you do make it pretty obvious."
