Saints

The seven sat boredly in the throne room, a room that consisted of 7 thrones in a circle around a sphere in which children were judged by as magical powers formed within them at age 18. The walls were made of stone, beautiful patterns reflected in the stained glass windows while red silk draped over them
Lazarus had yet to move as they had just finished with this years children, he just stared blankly at the ball in annoyance as not much excitement came of this year.
"A prosperous year this year, we had no unworthy ones we've been blessed" holly said gracefully standing from her chair
"But wheres the fun in that?" Axel replied a wicked grin receiving an eyeroll from Eden
"They are still human none the less axel, they are not all your playthings for you to torture for your own pleasure"
He shot her a slight glare as he stood as well
"Shes right you know, your bound to get one knocked up and what a scandal that would become, we dont need that burden " Lazarus added in his usual icy blank tone "if you'll excuse me I have work to attend to" he gave them a short wave as he headed out of the throne room leaving them to bicker among themselves

Stella went through her usual chores, she was quiet and did her best to be invisible and unnoticed. Especially from Axel having heard rumors about things he did to people.
She was often cycled between the temple and one of the homes of the saints due to her hard work and quiet demeanor. She knew better. Today she was in the temple and cleaning one of the halls.

Lazarus headed down the hall, his footsteps giving a slight echo as he walked. His icy demeanor made those around shy away from him into the corners as always knowing he was lost in thought and no one was to disturb or get in his way when he was like that. They are expected to move out of his way not for him to move for them

As she noticed him approach she moved out of the way. and continued to do her work in cleaning, the hall being spotless as she worked.

He walked through the door to her right and closed the door behind him before sitting in his chair. Everyone in the hallway seemed to relax slightly once he was gone,unlike melina or eden who were naturally very sweet and kind based off the magic they had everyone knew to be careful of ones like him and axel who were short tempered and hell of a lot easier to anger then most

She herself relaxed a little more and continued her work, moving on to the next hall once she had finished the present one.

He finished his work, the door clicking closer behind him as axel walked up beside him
"Sup mr serious" axel said with his hands in his pockets walking next to him.
"What do you want axel?" He asked, his tone was blank but his face showed mild annoyance as they came around the corner
"Ah cant just bother you when I want to without some motive?"
"You have never came to me without motive axel, I dont see a reason as you would think to start that now"
Axel just looked ahead and smirked seeing her on the floor working "ohhh I dont think ive seen that one before"

She moved on to the window above where she had been cleaning and went from the top of the ladder to go down from there. Despite the ladder being wobbly she didn't have much issue in balancing on it as she worked.

"Axel don-" he sighed as axel had already made his way over to the poor girl on the ladder "well hello" he said with a devilish grin

She jumped down straight from the top of the ladder and quickly bowed. "Greetings sirs."

"Graceful little thing arent you?" Axel said eyeing her
"Leave her be axel, can you not defile every poor girl you look at with your idiocracy" he said coldly as axel looked back to him "or will I once again need to teach you the usual lesson and take away your eyesight again?"
"I'd honestly rather you did not, fine you can have this one...enjoy her for me" he looked her up and down once more with a hungry look in his eyes before sauntering off down the hall
"Apologies for his behavior I usually keep him kenneled"

"No apology necessary sir." She replied, keeping her eyes down. "I apologize for interrupting your day."
She had quickly begun to learn some of the better options of responses though was glad that he ran Axel off, but wondered if he did have some sort of plans of his own for her.

He hooked a finger under her chin to make her look up at him, a dark cloud appearing in the other hand conjuring a single red rose that he tucked behind her ear "for your trouble...try to star clear of axel will you I'm not always around to stop him " he said as he walked away from her

She was struck with surprise by the flower and the kindness in general, she was mostly either ignored as she tried to be, or harassed if she was noticed.
"Um, yes." She nodded in response. "Thank you very much for your help, please let me know if there is anything I can do to repay you."

"Dont ask a man if you can do anything to repay him, you will usually be unhappy with his answer" he replied before disappearing down a dark hallway
