"I hope you can rest in peace now, Gracie." He said more to himself as he tossed some gasoline onto the body and lit a match. Not realizing the wall he had put up was coming down as he himself fell to his hands and knees, crying, letting out grief he had held in ever since he had witnessed his older sister's body be dumped at their doorstep burnt almost beyond recognition as well as relief that Axel couldn't hurt anyone again, along with a wide range of emotions as he had just killed several people in only a short amount of time, the first time he had intentionally hurt anyone.

Mel looked at him carefully crawling over to him, her hand gently sliding onto his shoulder "seth....its alright" she watched him quietly, wondering how a man could go from so in control to so defeated this quickly

[***Stormchaser***]

"I'm sorry...I let the fear that he'd get away again and the hatred consume me. I swear I won't lose control like that again. I'm sorry I scared you so much." He said after beginning to compose himself.

She said nothing she just nodded in understanding, her hand gently stroking his back in a comforting manner. She was worried about him, and worried about his magic becoming dangerous when hes emotional like that

He sat back. "I should be the one comforting you, not the other way around." He forced a smile after putting the fire out with dirt.

"Seth....who's gracie?" She asked quietly staring at him.

"She...was my older sister. One of the nicest people, she studied medicine as best she could to help people and was good at it, at least until she caught Axel's attention. We didn't even know he had taken her we just knew she was missing. He kept her for a long time and when he was finished with her she was just tossed at our doorstep horribly burned all over and many bones broken. My mother's screams that night ring in my ears almost every night. She was also found to have been impregnated, likely why he decided he was done with her." He slowly explained, having never fully talked about it before.
"You remind me a lot of her."

She took in a deep breath "i... I'm sorry, if I would have known...." she looked down and went quiet. She was left in the dark more then she realised, she wondered how much was really hidden from her over the years

"I know, you have nothing to apologize for. I'm sure they knew that you would protest if you had known of the things they do." He replied. "Seems your friends Eden and Lazarus may be coming to see things more clearly as well. I take it they were kept in the dark in certain ways as well since Lazarus hasn't hurt Stella yet."

She put a hand gently on his cheek wiping away what was left of his tears as she had moved closer to him, staring into his eyes. "I still did nothing to stop anything, I sat obediently like a dog"

"How would you have? I can see the amount of respect they have for you, but you did grow up with them so if you want to go back then I guess I shouldn't stop you, but I don't trust them to not try something like this again. I'd like you to stay safe with me."

She dropped her hand from his cheek "I dont want to go back, I want to be with you"

He nodded. "Okay, but it might take me some time to learn how to remove that seal on your magic."

She sighed "alright, I suppose I won't be needing it for the time being anyways..unless you had a purpose for me "

"Not that your magic wouldn't be helpful, right now though I just want to keep you and others safe."
