Mel smiled down at Ayla just comfortably relaxing in her mother's arms "and shes out new little light Saint, much better then the last one we had."
"I'll say" Lazarus said sitting back in his chair

"Agreed," Stella nodded.
Ayla was still gripping one of Lazarus' fingers.

"And she will not let go of my finger either" he said wiggling her little hand lightly and she hadn't budged
"Get used to it I'm sure that won't change"

"He was originally afraid that she didn't like him, but she had just been shoved out into the world and needed some time to adjust is all." Stella explained.
"Oh yes I can see that she just can't stand her daddy," Seth replied sarcastically.

"Well she might not like me later, you never know" he said sighing
"Light Saint or not she is your daughter so stop worrying " Mel said rolling her eyes

"She will only not like you when she is a teenager and you're scaring off every single person that might try to date her."

"Well they should be scared, and will be scared even if I don't do anything" he said shrugging "and thats fine with me"

"Won't be able to keep her from having a social life forever."

"Im aware,but I can for a while"
Mel sighed looking over at Seth "he's impossible to deal with "

"Seems like Stella can deal with him."

"Finally someone who can" Mel said and Lazarus shook his head

Stella and Ayla were both falling asleep again.

"Take your daughter so she can sleep" Mel said and Lazarus looked over
"How do i-?"
Mel rolled her eyes and gently took Ayla and set her in his arms "there, just like that"
