"Alright." He led the way.

"You'll want a name won't you little guy? Can't just keep calling you little guy now can I" She asked the puppy.

She followed next to him looking at him closely, she could feel her cheeks heat up as she did. Shed fallen hard for him in a matter of days and didnt understand how he made her feel this way so easily



It sat down wagging its tail with a bark

He went to what he had found had likely been the kitchen and had cleaned it up and fixed what needed to be. The past several days he had been gathering supplies and food, not only for the two of them, but others who were going to join him and slowly getting themselves ready to come to stay.

She sat cross-legged in front of the puppy. "Hm...what about Bumper? You keep bumping into Sir Lazarus." She asked with a giggle.

"Soo...do you have a girlfriend who's coming to stay here?"


It barked happily liking the name just fine

He shook his head. "No girlfriend at all."

"Alright, Bumper it is." She got back up, wanting to hold the puppy but not sure if she could or if it would just go right through.

[~Amber~]

"Oh really? Girls had to have liked you I mean your so cu- nice, your nice"

It cocked its head staring up at her, within a certain vicinity of Lazarus being around his power made it possible to pick the dog up

"There was one I had begun to be close with a few years ago but um...Azel got to her first and...well she wasn't the same after that and..." He trailed off, he didn't really want to mention that she had committed suicide, not able to live with what had been done to her.
"So I just didn't get close with others in general if I could help it. Most cases many of us don't or didn't try to get very close. Help one another out and what not yes, but not any close relationships. Everyone knew it would just end badly."

She held out a hand to see if she could pet him him.

"Oh I see...but hes gone now, he cant hurt anyone anymore" she gently slid a hand onto his shoulder with a small smile "he wont hurt anyone you love ever again"

He pressed his head into her hand wagging his tail

"I know." He nodded.

She smiled and scooped him up to pet and carry around with her.

"So now you can find a girlfriend or something, I dont know, if you actually want one that is".

He happily wagged his little tail, Lazarus was keeping tabs on them both to make sure they Didnt enter rooms he didnt want them in

"Maybe, but I don't know of anyone who would really want to stick by me through what I've done and plan to do."

She continued wandering around, not really planning to go into any rooms right now, just learning her way around in general.

She watched him "well I'm staying here...what if you get hurt, I dont want to leave and you get hurt so I'm staying here no matter what happens "


Lazarus left the door to his office opened as he sat at the deck trying to think of a plan, he knew seth was dangerous and was planning to destroy everything he had ever known. He was going to try to convince the others that Seth's ideas were more humane but he knew it was a long shot. That and he hadent slept in 3 days so he couldnt think straight, he said back and coughed knowing very well the lack of sleep and cold outside air was making him sick

He gave her a small smile. "Thanks, but I'm not going to hold you to that, just in case I end up scaring you off."

She walked by and heard him coughing, knowing that it wasn't a normal cough (she had been around enough sick people and got sick herself to know the difference).
She lightly knocked on the door to make her presence known, "Are you alright?"

She looked away "if you were going to scare me off you would have already "


He looked up at her "I'm fine, probably just a cold"

"I thought I did at first."

"Do you need any medicine or soup or anything?"
