She sighed "yeah I know '

"Maybe they will be good for one another." She said while putting the bowl to the side and took another swallow of the medicine to sleep more.

"I hope so, he can he everything she wants him to Be. And she will take care of him"

[***Stormchaser***]

"He will keep her safe." She nodded.

"I don't know of any other way that will work. But even if I have to tear down the whole system things will change." He replied.

[~Amber~]

He nodded quietly, you could tell he was worried about mel. It was understandable as at one point they did have a relationship, it never worked out but they were still friends in the end



"I just dont want anymore bloodshed, I've already seen enough"

"I'm sure you'll see her again and you can hear how she is doing from her."

"I can't promise that there won't be. For those without magic that is an everyday fear and everyday entertainment for some of the saints and other magic users. People who do such things to others will not let their rule end peacefully."

He sighed "I know, I bet it will be after this is over though. Seth will hide her away to keep her safe I'm sure no one will see her until he knows shes safe"

She walked over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck "well after this is over, no one will be hurt anymore and they will have you to thank"

"Maybe so." She sighed.

"Some might, but I'm prepared for others to not like my methods. As long as the right change occurs then I don't care how I am seen."

"Guess it's just hard spending every day with someone since you were a child and suddenly I cant"


"I hope you at least care of how I feel and see you. The others it's fine, but i hope this is more then that " she said looking up at him

"I suppose it would be but at least she is safe."

"I do care about how you feel about me and I do hope that you won't ever be afraid of me, but I apologize I still can't promise that there won't be other lives taken. I am putting your safety and the safety and future well being of those I grew up with into account and if that means removing those who cause such pain from existence then that is what I will do."

"Yeah, as long as she is safe and happy that is what matters

She put a hand gently on his cheek "I couldn't be afraid of you, the only promise I need is one of lives taken will not be yours"

"I'm sure you will get to see her again soon." She replied and yawned as the medicine took effect again.

"I will do my best to ensure that. I have a future with you to look forward to if you want that of course."

"Try and get some more sleep" he mumbled half awake as well


She blushed slightly, thinking about having a future with him "i..I'd like that "

"I'm glad to hear it."
