"Let's go james" she said grabbing his arm gently once again
"Alright uhm I suppose we will stop by after dinner?" He said still trying to understand why grace couldnt even look at drake

"That is fine. Thank you." He nodded and went to make preparations, mostly getting some blood for Emily to actually drink if the thirst does actually take hold of her when she smells James. He hopes it will work.

Later that night James and grace went to the castle walking up the steps to the front
"Why do you think he wanted to talk to both of us before?" She asked curiously and james shrugged
"Youd have to ask him about that yourself"
"I cant even look at him and you think I'd be able to hold a conversation with him?"

Drake opened the door as they came up the steps.
"Welcome to the castle. I'm sure you can believe it but you too are the first outside of basic staff to be stepping into the castle in quite a while." He greeted them.

James looked over to him as grace continued to look around "oh, I can believe that "

He led the way through the throne room and around a few halls to the study.
As he opened the door Emily glanced over at them and gave them a hard stare. Even sickly looking she was still pretty, though her face was becoming sunken and dark circles under her eyes, skin so pale that it was almost translucent.
"I told you not to bring anybody here." She growled at Drake who ignored it.
"You won't listen to me, why should I listen to you?" Drake countered.
Her eyes glowed a bit as she smelled James and her instincts tried to take hold as the thirst pushed at her.

Grace was a bit startled by her attitude and took a step back towards the door out of impulse but James didnt move an inch. His usual awkward self gave a small wave "uhm hi...my names James "

She glanced in his direction before quickly looking away to try and ignore the smell of his blood. "Hi."
"C'mon Emily, you know you need blood." Drake said while pulling her up and pulling her a little closer to James. He had a blood pack in hand, seeing that the smell was getting to her as her pupils began to narrow, becoming more animalistic.
In a flash she pounced but Drake caught her by the back of the neck and shoved the blood pack into her mouth so that her fangs would puncture it and she would drink it.
Her eyes began returning to normal and skin had a more normal paleness to it.
"Thank you, your presence was quite helpful." Drake said to James. "Now to figure out a solution to get her to regularly feed again."

James was just wide eyed and nodded while grace had smacked into the wall startled cutting herself on the wall sconce as she did so and put a hand over her cheek with a wince
"You okay grace?" James asked worried and she just quietly nodded
(Gotta get ready for work now)

"Damn." Drake muttered as he smelled her exposed blood and returned his attention to Emily.

James looked back at them "uhm, if that's all we should probably leave you be"
Grace just wiped the blood on her sleeve "yeah I would like to go to bed"

The two were quiet, trailing behind him as grace just studied him carefully
"Your quite a clutz smacking into the wall like that" james teased and grace looked over at him turning red
"Shut up"

Drake wasn't really listening himself, he was still concerned since it took forcing instincts to take over just to get Emily to consume anything, he hoped it would improve her mood to be a little more motivated again.

"Well cant help but be freaked out when she jumped at you, memories yah know" she said looking down at the ground
"Right sorry, whyd you come anyways?" James asked and she crossed her arms
"We are a team and if you going to do something that could get you killed I need to at least be there to watch"
He rolled his eyes "thanks for that grace"
