"Emily was not in such a state as to kill anyone...granted she was well on her way to it, but not there yet. Like I said I wasn't going to let anyone be harmed but I did need him to trigger the more primal instincts so that she wouldn't notice the difference between a blood pack and a living target so I apologize for the scare. Now I just need to figure out a way to motivate her to regularly feed again."

"Well thank you for your assistance, take this for your trouble." He gave them a basket with expensive treats in it once they were at the gate, he gave a wave before turning back to the castle.

Grace looked at it quiet confused as she watched him walk away
"Uhm...thank you" james said not expecting it as he gently pulled grace on the arm so she would stop staring and start walking

Grace followed james back towards home
"I wonder why shes refusing to eat" james asked
"Feed, they dont really eat" grace corrected and shrugged "and how should we know, no one ever sees her anyways I thought she was already dead or something "and why wouldnt you look at the general?"
She turned slightly red "you know why shut up and keep walking"
(Gonna drive home now only like 15 minutes and I'll be back)

He went inside and ignored the glare he was getting from Emily.
"That was reckless." She hissed at him.
"What was I suppose to do? Are you trying to starve yourself? What about me? I'll be alone." Drake argued.
"You'd be free to go and live your own life."

The two argued for a while until he managed to at least convince her that he wanted her to try so she agreed but she was sick of the blood packs.

The next morning the two were out walking the trail in the woods
"Do you think hes going to come around again?" Grace asked
James chuckled "why?so you can stare at him but get grouchy when he speaks to you" he teased and she shoved him
"Shut up!"

Drake made Emily go outside, though they went on a walk in the woods to be away from others, she still wasn't very keen on being around a lot of people at once yet.
