Olivia sat in the queen's throne beside her husband as many of his court approached to present gifts for their wedding anniversary as well as her birthday as many far and wide of the kingdom and allies came to the party. Their actual anniversary was a few weeks ago, but they held a celebration for it with others later so that they could bring the two events together.
She made sure to wear a dress that hid the bruises that had recently been left behind.

Jackson walked quietly with as usual he had a calm yet regal air about him. His family had been allies with this kingdom for many years and he was expected to keep the relationship between them civil so attending this party was a must for him. He stepped up with his usual bright white charming smile "it's been a while, i wasnt aware youd married I assume it was during my leave of absence while my brother was left to the throne? I do appoligize for not being in attendance"

"Not to worry, it is good to see you again my boy, this is my beautiful wife, Olivia. My dear this is King Jackson, one of my closest allies. Her birthday was also a few days ago so this is for that as well." He replied.

"Beautiful she is, it's a pleasure to meet you Olivia" he gave her a charming smile before looking to Louis "I have brought something for her, I assume it is not something youd pefer inside though so I hope you wouldn't mind her accompanying me to the front doors for only a moment."

She nodded and took his hand, standing and stepped down the steps with her husband following.

"I'm not sure how much you've been made aware of about my people but we are very nature oriented and known for our horses for both the beauty and strength of them" he said as they got to the door and servants opened them, one of his people held a pair of beautiful detailed reigns that matched the saddle that sat upon a beautiful snow white stallion that sparkles in the sunlight its eyes shown a beautiful blue "I hope you find her as beautiful as we do, I picked her especially for you"

"Oh wow, she is stunning." She smiled for real for the first time in years and held a hand out to the horse so that she could sniff her.
"What a magnificent gift." He remarked.

As the party resumed Louis spent much time catching up with Jackson while Olivia sat on her throne while guests greeted her but she generally wasn't allowed to talk to people much.

"She has been for as long as we've been married. I suppose moving to a new place does have such challenges but where she is from she was quite lively and social from my observations." He replied.

He looked over to her "hm, interesting, if you dont mind me asking her to dance I could talk to her, maybe get her to loosen up a bit for you. As you know I'm quite persuasive"
