She led the way to the kitchen where smaller tables were set up for people to come and go with food set out on a large counter.

"Yep." She nodded. There were vegetables and meats roasted with spices and fruits from cacti, some with and without the pricks still attached and other assortments.
"Don't drink too much juice from this cacti at once. It can make you hallucinate and get loopy if you have too much."

She handed him a small shot of the juice, the thing that got most people was that it was very tasty buy until their body adjusted to it they may as well be drunk or high.
