"Don't have to do it all the time. People will soon tire of trying and leave to where you can't reach or just give up since you take away what makes life worth living for them."

"Could have just told them what you wanted in a person other than eighteen and still virgins, or just come and find the person you want yourself by meeting the people and learning about them. What if I'm not the kind of person you want either? What if Terra isn't?"

"Well they are happy right now so I assume they won't try leaving anytime soon"

"Altier liked having them figure it out, he wouldn't let me leave very often or ar all"

"No, but some were preparing to if Keith and I weren't accepted. People can only take so much. Next year if the new two aren't accepted you won't have many more worshipers left, many will die and the rest will go somewhere else."

He sighed. "That isn't fair, to you or the people."

"Next year? Oh right you all dont know how this works"

She sighed "I know but it cant be helped.." she stopped at the little pool of water she and altier had sat at before "did you want to check on them?"

"What am I missing? Don't ask for anyone else until you get bored of us?" She asked.

"You're a goddess, how can it not be helped?" He asked in confusion. "My sisters never hesitated to tell me when I was being unreasonable with them because I made sure that they felt like they could without fear."
He looked down at the pool. "Maybe now isn't really a good time, I'm afraid I'll see everyone crying or something."

"Until you become boring...or annoying yes we ask for no one else"

"Its complicated, just men are in charge around here that's how it is...and are you sure, I mean you will see them tomorrow so I assume tears woulsnt be too bad knowing you'll see them again even if they dont know it"

"I see, so that could literally be anytime." She concluded.

"So that is where humans got the sexism from. At least humans are growing out of that." He answered.
"It is still heartbreaking to see family crying over you when you can't do anything about it."

"It could be, though I see my sister will not be growing bored anytime soon"

She looked down at the water, staring into it. "You really love them more than anything dont you"

"Okay so when you get bored of me."

"Of course. But at least tomorrow they can see that I'm okay and they can meet you and they'll feel better."

"With that sharp tounge of yours not likely I will anytime soon" he said standing back up


"Meet me? I'm leaving you with them for the day me staying wasnt exactly part of the plan"

"Do I amuse you?" She asked.

"Really? Don't want to meet them?"

"Well if you answer them then I would have less questions later on. I am a human literally living among the gods as your pet. In no one's living memory have you two accepted anyone presented so no one knew what was going to happen. I'm going to have some questions and depending on how important it is to me I will ask until it is answered."
