Her grandfather taught her Kunf fu/sword fighting when she was younger, and it grew on her. her grandfather became deathly ill when she was 13, before he passed away he gave her an old necklace minutes before he passed. Later she discoverd that she was able to gp to different worlds and times and it gave her sword great powers. Knows nothing about her parents.
