Casey laughed running down the hallway towards her fathers office after her mother had yelled for her to slow down. They were going to go get him to join them for lunch outside as he was still doing some work but as usual Casey always had to get there first. Leaving her mother behind so ari had just decided to sit and wait for the two as she had somethings they needed to talk about

Damon was mostly reading over letter, requests for suitors to meet Casey, some he rejected on the spot for being too old or too young, others he did keep to at least see what Casey herself wanted to do, he was just glad for a few actually asking before just showing up as some had done.
Though he did need to let his family know that a young lord would be visiting in place of his father for a regular meeting, get use to the traveling part of the job and visiting the castle.

Meanwhile Henry was underway on heading towards the capitol for the meeting, as well as to meet the princess.

Casey slid into the room and smiled "put that work down and come eat lunch, moms waiting and you know she gets cranky when shes hungry" she said grinning "let's get a move on "

"Alright, alright." He put the papers down and followed her out of the room.

Ari was on the patio in the gardens as they came up and Casey slid into his chair
"I told you not to run" ari said giving her a look and Casey grinned "sorry mom, just disnt want you to have to wait long"
"Mhm surely that was the reason"

"Well that was the reason I got when she rushed me out." Damon replied.

Casey grabbed one of the cakes as ari kissed damon in the cheek
"Ew gross " Casey said and ari smiled
"Would you rather I didnt love your father?"
"Okay fine, but I am eating" Casey joked

[***Stormchaser***]

"You're nineteen, it can't be that gross anymore." He pointed out.

"It is always gross when it's your parents" she said grinning as ari just sipped on her tea
"She always has been like that but it used to be she got mad if I kissed you as she wanted the attention"

[***Stormchaser***]

"I know, I was there too." He chuckled.
"Before I forget we will be having a visitor arriving tomorrow morning. A young Lord from the far East who is finishing training and learning to take his father's place in ruling and representing that part of the kingdom. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he also wanted to meet you Casey, but he will be visiting for at least a week or so given how long the journey is."

She sighed "great I guess"
Ari pat her arm "who knows maybe this one won't look like a dungeon troll like the last boy who came along with his father"
Casey giggled "that was bad, almost as bad as his attitude."
"That wasn't the worse" ari said setting her cup down "you didnt get to see your father pretty much threaten to set lord bastions son on fire when he comment on your butt as you left the room"

"I've made it clear that his son is not welcome back with out being able to keep iis mouth shut outside of offical matters. However his father is staying home, something I am alright with as his father has a....manipulative kind of personality, his son had always been quiet when he would come along so we will see."

[~Amber~]

"Well I'm sure things will be fine l, if not you can threaten this one as well" ari said and Casey laughed
"How often has dad actually scared guys off?"
Ari looked over at damon "well...a few?"

"Sounds good to me." He nodded.
He thought about it. "Yeah I have a few, some you never met but I just knew by talking to them myself that they would not be right."

"Well maybe I just have to find someone who's gonna kidnap me off to a palace, worked for you two" she said grinning, she actually liked hearing the stories of how her parents met
Ari smiled "I'm sure a boy would be dead by sunrise if he did that"
