Casey turned to look at him for a moment and kind of blinked in surprise
"Ah yes these do grow where you are from dont they?" The old man said before hobbling off

"They do." He nodded. "My mother has them all over."

[~Amber~]

"Well they are pretty" she said looking back at them "you must be lord hawthorn I assume? Based solely off the fact I havent seen you around before"

[***Stormchaser***]

"Indeed they are and you are correct your highness. I wasn't expecting to actually meet you yet, I apologize for butting in. You may call me Henry, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He politely kissed her hand but kept at a comfortable distance, deciding that that will likely be best for now.

She blushed slightly, she was used to such a greeting but he was very good looking "it's a pleasure to meet you as well, uh are you enjoying the garden so far?" She asked looking away to hide the slight blush

"I am, thank you. It is beautiful and I had heard there is personal family history with it as well right?" He asked.

[~Amber~]

"Quite the family history that's for sure, my grandmother helped create it, my father pretty much destroyed it,my mother brought it back and I used to set that rose bush on fire" she said pointing behind her "that's really the short version "

[***Stormchaser***]

"You're right that is quite the history. I had heard about how your grandmother mostly created it, but the others are interesting additions as well."

[~Amber~]

"Yeah, we werent around for all th dark and gloomy stuff and my father doesnt really like to talk about that too much "

[***Stormchaser***]

"I imagine not. " he nodded. "I'm not sure I would want to either if I were him."

[~Amber~]

"Well some good did come out of it at least. He wouldn't have met my mom if that didn't all happen"

"True, they do see quite happy now and they have a lovely and kind daughter as well." He agreed.

"Ah thanks, yeah things are good now around here. Mothers told me some stories of before and it wasnt good"

[***Stormchaser***]

"I've heard some as well though the clouds stretched just barely reaching our end. "

"I heard the influence was really bad and barely anyone was left unaffected the way my mother was. Everyone was just rude, mean, and uncaring "
