"Because that costs money." Rae answered seriously. They never once considered going out to eat other than a special occasion like a holiday but they never actually did it.

They just decided to go along with it. Nico didn't really care if they spent their money on them as long as they didn't have to pay them back, as far as he was concerned it was the least they could do for being apart of this hostage mess, but Rae was always bothered by others spending money on her, it even bothered her when Nico spent money he won on something that was specifically for her such as clothes or something only she used.
