History:
Born into the royal family of a small country mostly known for its vast mining industry for precious metals and stones they are a pretty quiet people. That was until another ruler decided the land was more usable to him and lead a war taking over the kingdom himself. He decided to be merciful and not kill her family as the people adored them and knew they would cooperate better if he left them alive. Instead now she has been given to the kings son who's has a bit of arrogance about him and has decides she is to marry him so they can make a big spectacle of the wedding to cause the people of her country to better cooperate. He wants it to look like upon take over his son was smitten with her beauty and felt pity for her people deciding to make her his bride and spare them to gain favor with the natives.
Selina now has to deal with a prince she does not want, her choice of deciding who she loved and will marry now ripped away from her because of she refused it would only cause unneeded bloodshed if her people, he seems to have a slight soft side but it rarely peeks through so she tries her best to coax his better nature out of him in Hope's that she may someday be able to love him.
