Amethyst walked through the trails of the forest she resided, a good portion of it she owned, collecting potion and remedy ingredients as she walked.
She did not realize that she was only several miles from a prison, the forest muffled all noise in and from things outside it.
Most people did not venture into the forest because a witch was believed to be there, of course it was true but the idea of her was different than who she was.

Luke had gotten out, but with no one else to lean on he was on his own. He looked to the woods, seeing it as a shortcut as well as a more secure place from the elements he made his way into the forest.
He pushed branches out of his path getting scrapped up a bit but he didnt let it bother him, worse had happened in the past 10 years. He stumbled into q clearing and found the place she called home
"What the fuck?...." he walked up and gently opened the door walking into the front entrance expecting it to be deserted. "Hello?..."

It was a log cabin that blended into the surrounding forest until you were actually in the clearing it resided, having a moss roof and vines on it. Further up in the higher trees was a set up of a few solar panels and windmills for electricity.
The inside was warm and cozy and looked like a relatively basic cabin with the exception of a mid sized cauldron in the round fireplace. The main room was all open with a small kitchen in one corner with smaller versions of basic appliances and a living area with a comfortable couch and chair with a small TV that was mostly used for movies.
Several potted plants hung from the ceiling of the space where the cauldron sat along with a large bookshelf built into the walls on either side of the chimney full of books and random ingredients or other small potted plants. A table sat in the middle of the space with a crystal ball and a crustal on a chain hanging on a small silver pendulum. There was a loft over head and two doors in the wall below the loft railing where the bedroom and bathroom were, finally the place was lit up with colorful lights that seemed to just float around at the ceiling all on their own.
Shortly after he spoke Amethyst returned home and stood behind him on the front porch.
"Hello to you as well."

He jumped, not hearing her come up behind him and turned to look at her "who the hell are you?" He managed to say kind of looking at her with a startled expression

She raised an eyebrow curiously. "I think that would normally be my question as this is my home, though maybe not in those exact words. I'm Amethyst, welcome to my home."
She sidestepped around him to go through the door herself and put what she had collected away.
"Don't get a whole lot of visitors this deep into the forest, especially not ones running around in an orange jumpsuit."

"Right...." he said looking down at his clothes and sighed oddly confused by this women being so calm about him being in her home, let alone where he obviously came from "why are you out here exactly?"

"Do you mean why am I living out here? I want to to put it simply. Would you like a change of clothes? I think I have something that could fit you, that outfit doesn't really suit you." She replied, motioning for him to come in.

She went into the bedroom below the loft and dug through the closet and pulled out some clothes.
"These should fit you alright, you can use that room to change." She set the clothes out on the bed.

"Nice to meet you Luke." She nodded and went to the kitchen to heat up some food for them as well as put the collected ingredients away.

He changed and walked out running a hand through his hair to fix it as it was a mess

"There is also a shower if you want to use it, make yourself at home, I don't mind." She added noticing him trying to fix his hair some. "I'm just heating up some food if you're hungry."

His stomach growled at the word hungry "uh maybe a little...I'm still very confused. I show up here and you ask no questions"

"I don't need to, I know all that I need to at the moment. You are someone in need of help, I can provide it and you are no danger to me or my home." She replied while setting the small table with bowls of stew and a fresh loaf of bread. She set out a bowl on the floor of cat food and a black ca that seemingly appeared from nowhere went straight to it.
