She jumped, startled though regained her composure, "um yeah? What is this one more thing you apparently have to say?"

She ignored the fact that it was only a bathrobe, it covered everything and reached just above her knees so she saw no reason to make a big deal of it but still hadn't gotten anything else on yet and she did have to hold the top closed a little extra

He chuckled walking closer to her "it may be but when you thinking of it from a male perspective by the tugging this little rope it makes a robe very easily to open" he said simply just smiling down at her "and if it's just a robe why do you keep holding it like that?"

Grouchy she could deal with, creepy was another story. She didn't yet notice the bed was a few more steps behind her having shifted to avoid having her back to the wall.

"So you admit you're awful huh?" She asked, the nerves she had been feeling making her speak without thinking.
Alice wouldn't admit it out loud but she had been pretty scared and he could probably hear her heartbeat even if he wasn't a vampire.
Someone had done that to her before when she was several years younger and even though she suppressed the worst parts of the memories she knew they were still there and could feel the memories and fear from it pushing dangerously close to the surface.

First he bursts in here to tell me off and now this? Geez I'm sick of this whiplash. Can'the just pick one? She thought sourly, though didn't say it aloud knowing he would probably hear and use it to push her buttons.
She returned to the bathroom to change and went out to the balcony to sit in the cold night air for a while and let her nerves settle down again.
