twas a stormy night at the inn by thee sea as nico looked up at the sky when dark clouds rolled in. the in was just set aflame the goldend flames dacing before his eyes as he rushed all of the people out of it as his friend simon did a head count to make everyone was found.

eredith swam towards the surface as fast as she could. She had never been to the surface before and was excited but nervous at the same time. Once she broke the surface she noticed the storm and went to a cave nearby to dry off and put on the cloths she brought. She had to wait the storm out or the rain will cause her to change into a mermaid again.

She practiced walking around while waiting for it to stop raining so she would at least look like she knew how to walk, even if she was clumsy and stumbled a lot but by the time it stopped raining she was able to walk so that it at least looked natural and walked down the beach, carfully avoiding the water.

nico sighed and adressed the crowed saying that it would take a few weeks to fix complety but could be fixed if everyone chiped in so all that were there cat's that were not on the riches side to mear humans whom they have rescued all chiped in to help repair there new home.

"Oh wow." She said surprised at all the damage the storm had caused and was mentaly grateful that they didn't have things like that underwater but she wanted to help out.

She went around helping in anyway she could, mostly clearing away debris and helping people rebuild or fix their homes.

She looked around and saw a boy about her age with dark hair and cat ears, he looked like he got into a lot of fights or something. She was told briefly about cat humans but no details, mainly that they were around. She went back to work again.

once the darkness started to decend nico gather everyone inside the dammaged building as all cat's stayd out to gard there home

Everyone went to a damaged building but Meredith went to the beach instead and sat on the sand looking out at the ocean and thinking about what was going on at home.
