Tegan finished up her own papers and managed to have a restraining order put into place against her parents with some evidence though would not have put into place until she was completely moved into the new location. She kept any other evidence she may need safely locked away as she prepared to move and over the week she slowly moved things from a storage unit into her room. Most of it was furniture she put together herself while cleaning up the apartment as the week went on.
Once she was completely moved in she left her parents a note while they were out and left, meeting with the lawyer to have the order put into effect.

Tegan walked through the door with the last of her things after seeing the lawyer who would, along with a police officer, be meeting with her parents with the new rules. She closed it behind her and passed through. "Hi." She greeted as she walked through.
the only thing she really was worried about with living with someone else would be if they noticed things, like her wardrobe-the long sleeves and pants, or extra private behavior. She hoped he wouldn't notice, but it was still a better situation so far than the one she was leaving.

he gave a short wave "hey" he was usually not very into other peoples business, he'll be curious but he really wont do a thing about it

She was relieved that so far he hadn't said anything and continued to her room to finish setting up the furniture. She had managed to save up for a dresser, a full sized bed, a small desk and a bookshelf. All of her clothes fit into the dresser and she didn't have anything that needed to be hung up so she kept other things in her closet, a bow and arrows, a crossbow, and a katana. She had slowly been collecting things like this as she learned to use them and fight. Other than her few clothes and school supplies that was all she owned besides make up.
Now Tegan was free to actually buy what she wanted and needed.

Tegan had the night off so she used it to finish setting up furniture, well her bed, as it was the last thing. While she was moving the frame to where she wanted it, it slipped from her hands and landed on her foot and the floor with a loud thud.
She bit down on her knuckles to keep from cursing or anything before picking it back up and set it down. She sat at her desk to get her weight off of it and examined it to make sure it wasn't broken.

She pulled her knuckles from between her teeth and pulled up her sleeve that had slipped down her arm some. "Yes. just dropped the bed frame on my foot."
