She was unsure of what to make of his behavior, whether to take it sincerely or a trick. It would not be the first time someone was nice to her to get what they wanted and she had no reason to put it past him simply because they were betrothed, though it would not matter either way as they were betrothed, he could get anything he wanted from her either way. For now she would be accepting of the kindness.
"Thank you......goodnight." She replied after a pause.
