Kane set her down on the counter and handed her an ice cream before going to find alia "so what happened? I'm guessing you know and my mute sister would rather munch on that ice cream then tell me"

Her back had been turned at the time and she jumped a little, whirling around.
"I-um...it was about the one who killed your mother..." She started off slowly.
"Gavin spoke without thinking and wasn't being very sensitive to her feelings, but he doesn't dislike your sister or anything, he wouldn't hurt her, he's just generally cold, I'm sorry." She added the rest in a more frantic tone.

"calm down I'm not going to hurt anyone" he said watching the way she was acting "I'd rather he disliked her, my sister seems to have a crush on him I could tell from the second she looked at him. it's quiet annoying actually"

he looked up as he heard a commotion down the hall like pans hitting the ground and a crash of glass breaking and his sister scream "Eliana!"

there was a man on the floor and a few men on the ground holding him down as Eliana was in the corner wide eyed she had a gash on her arm and was shaking watching what was in the man's hand very carefully.
"they will get you! you will all pay you hear me!" he yelled at her

Before the other guards had notice some metal had already pined the man down. Before Gavin had even gotten there he still had things under control to protect her.
He glanced at the gash and put a hand over it. It glowed brightly before healing though he had to lean against the counter for a minute.

she noticed and reached toward him but flinched since she was feeling weak at the moment as well. her brother picked up the strange stone the man had and slid it into a special bag. "you alright?" he asked picking up his sister off the ground
"is Gavin okay?" She asked still watching him and he sighed setting her on the counter next to Gavin

Once they were gone he released the restraints so the guards could take him away though curious to know why and followed.
Aila stayed outside the kitchen in the hall.

Kane looked at her "you coming?" he asked but kept walking anyway ignoring the blood dripping from the tips of his sisters long hair knowing it was hers.
