"No only for the past four years." She replied. They had a small table with four chairs beside the counter, a little TV and futon as a couch in the living room space with the kitchen beyond the counter.
There was a small decorated tree in the corner that was lit along with lights lining the ceiling.

"I don't see why we would, you haven't shown to be threatening and besides we've made friends with some of the rougher neighbors and they keep an eye out for us anyways." She shrugged. "If they didn't see an issue in you talking to Abby earlier then I don't see why we should be." She got started on mixing the ingredients of the things she had cooked already like the rice and chicken and mixed it in with gravy and some vegetables into a casserole dish to bake together.

"Well these days a lot of kids are seen like that around here, I'm sure some of those who may remember you knew better traits in you as well, otherwise they would have said something to me." She replied.
"No worries, just make yourself at home, want any hot chocolate, or tea or something to warm up with?"

She nodded and got started on heating up water while putting some of the homemade powder into three mugs.
"Want to play a game while we wait?" Abby asked with a smile.

"Well we have some board games and card games like Apples to Apples or actual cards, or Uno." She listed off while pulling out a plastic bin to show him what there was.
