"That's just his face, he never looks like he wants to do anything, so you two go dance, I'll borrow him for one dance later." Rae replied, pushing Nico to encourage him to get up, he did so and held out a hand to Allison to dance.
"It's okay. I don't mind, I just can't make any promises on being good at it."
Rae sat to wait, she had always wanted to dance at a fancy party in a nice dress and thought it would be a fantasy, though her fantasy also included dancing with some handsome stranger too, but knew that would never happen.

She smiled and took his hand "that's okay with me" she replied getting up and following him to dance
Maverick looked over at her and got up "you know I never said I wouldnt either" he said holding out a hand to her
